About Me

Approach

My work is grounded in the understanding that healing happens through relationship and healing happens from within— this healing with ourselves, each other, and the more-than-human world is essential in troubled times. I believe in creating containers where authentic connection and movement can flourish and where the wisdom of the body is prioritized because the body can guide us toward wholeness.

Drawing from both ancient wisdom traditions and contemporary somatic practices, I support individuals and groups in accessing their innate capacity for healing and growth. My approach emphasizes:

  • Trauma-informed care that honors each person's unique journey

  • Body-based practices that cultivate presence and embodied awareness

  • Relational work that fosters genuine connection and community

  • Integration of ecological awareness and natural law principles

Vision

I am committed to co-creating a world of connected community celebration through teamwork, healing, and conscious evolution. My work supports the emergence of bioregional, life-affirming cultures rooted in deep relationship with place and each other.

Through specially designed courses, individual sessions, group facilitation, and community building, I aim to contribute to the healing of our collective trauma and the cultivation of more resilient, heart-centered ways of being.

"I am a licensed clinician with a private practice that works with over 100 clients a month. Patrick is a clinician and a man that I trust. His integrity, intuition and open heart is on full display when working with him… a high caliber therapeutic experience that goes well beyond traditional psychotherapy." Tom Jameson MS, LMHC ~ “Patrick is a brilliant facilitator with deep insight into effecting transformative change in those he serves. I find Patrick’s vision of working with not only boys and men, but allies of boys and men, a life-model and an inspiration.” -Leah Blackburn DSc, MSc Sr. Healthcare Consultant, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland ~ "The primary quality that comes through from Patrick is a very calming presence, coupled with great listening and questions, allowing me to dip toes into past issues and persistent feelings, and then come back to a very supportive "now." These sessions all happen on Zoom, and I am amazed by how connected I felt..." Steven W. ~ “As someone who works in this field as well, it has been a challenge at times to find someone who I feel has the missing puzzle piece that I don’t have. Which is why I’m reaching out for help in the first place, I’m searching for a tool I don’t currently have access to. Patrick’s biggest gift is his solid unwavering presence. I feel safe to unravel and reweave with him. To unpack the crazy, the brilliant, the tender and the messy pieces. He knows when to just let me feel, and when to ask the right questions that bring all the puzzle pieces together. His work, for me, is nothing short of the most humble genius. I would highly recommend Patrick to anyone seeking a safe space to explore, integrate and rest in your own soul’s perfection.” -Leah Dietzen

Education and Training:

Note: I am trained in these things, sure. But the real education happened in my own breakdown and rebuild. There’s an important distinction between knowledge and wisdom.

* Being trained helps, but it’s not the whole story.
