How I Can Help You:
-
As children, our environments failed over and over. Our parents did the best they could with the resources they had and we adapted the best we knew how.
These adaptations; believing we don’t belong in the world or that we’re not good enough or deserving of love, difficulty trusting ourselves or others, perfectionsim, addictions like workaholism and substance abuse, people pleasing and fear of speaking up, pressuring ourselves endlessly and ambivalence, etc. made sense at the time we adpoted them. Now they get in the way of what we want as adults.
In a NARM session we explore what’s getting in the way of what you truly want for yourself.
The first question then becomes:
What do you truly want for yourself?
~
Together we can explore what’s getting in the way in a trauma-informed relational conversation.

Hi, I’m Patrick. Let’s connect and see if it’s a fit to work together. Welcome.
“When our relationship to our internal world changes, old patterns fade and more choices become available in the space between stimulus and response.
The external world shifts as we make changes within our internal world.”

‘What does it mean to be trauma-informed’
“We do not have to be ashamed of what we are.” - Chögyam Trungpa
Guiding Principles:
We transform through awareness and curiosity rather than effort alone.
Organic systems heal from within. We are organic systems. And with the right environmental conditions, we heal organically.
We are all connected. From the parts we disown, to the people we don’t like, to the environment in which we live and beyond. This interconnectedness is always orienting toward wholeness and evolution.
As we bring more of ourselves into awareness the process evolves naturally.
Slowing down and working somatically- deep patterns can shift quickly and over time creating space for new relationships with ourselves and others to emerge.
Inviting the wisdom of the body in a trauma-informed, titrated manner is a vehicle for lasting embodied change.
“The price of freedom is eternal mindfulness.” -Laurence Heller PH.D
What is NARM?
“The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection and health. No matter how withdrawn and isolating we have become, or how serious the trauma we have experienced, on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves towards the sun, there is in each of us an impulse moving toward connection. This organismic impulse is the fuel of The NeuroAffective Relational Model™.”
What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive, hands-on session for the body/mind. Performed on a massage table, the client is fully clothed and the practitioner touch is light and still. The session focus is to support the inherent health of the whole being, especially the nervous system (NS). The NS dictates all of the body’s functioning, constantly sending and receiving information.
Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioners understand how an optimally functioning healthy nervous system performs. We are trained for years on how to use acute perception skills to perceive subtle physiological changes. We also are aware of the energetic map that underlies one‘s basic health and symptomology. We believe that health is never lost no matter what symptoms are showing up. We assist the system in bringing itself back into balance. This supports greater ease and helps the body decrease symptoms and ultimately find homeostasis for increased well-being.
"I am a licensed clinician with a private practice that works with over 100 clients a month. Patrick is a clinician and a man that I trust. His integrity, intuition and open heart is on full display when working with him… a high caliber therapeutic experience that goes well beyond traditional psychotherapy." Tom Jameson MS, LMHC ~ “Patrick is a brilliant facilitator with deep insight into effecting transformative change in those he serves. I find Patrick’s vision of working with not only boys and men, but allies of boys and men, a life-model and an inspiration.” -Leah Blackburn DSc, MSc Sr. Healthcare Consultant, Oregon Health & Science University, Portland ~ "The primary quality that comes through from Patrick is a very calming presence, coupled with great listening and questions, allowing me to dip toes into past issues and persistent feelings, and then come back to a very supportive "now." These sessions all happen on Zoom, and I am amazed by how connected I felt..." Steven W. ~ “As someone who works in this field as well, it has been a challenge at times to find someone who I feel has the missing puzzle piece that I don’t have. Which is why I’m reaching out for help in the first place, I’m searching for a tool I don’t currently have access to. Patrick’s biggest gift is his solid unwavering presence. I feel safe to unravel and reweave with him. To unpack the crazy, the brilliant, the tender and the messy pieces. He knows when to just let me feel, and when to ask the right questions that bring all the puzzle pieces together. His work, for me, is nothing short of the most humble genius. I would highly recommend Patrick to anyone seeking a safe space to explore, integrate and rest in your own soul’s perfection.” -Leah Dietzen
